P90X?

Postby DanB » 19 Jul 2010, 11:48

Anyone tried using the P90X Program? It's been highly recommended to me by a couple of people I know and from all the data I can gather, it looks like it's awesome for building strength. Cardio's a part of the program, but I'm not sure how much it'll help for cycling.

Any ideas?

One: hills. Climb them until it hurts. Rinse, repeat.

Oh, the tedium. :D

I like a little variety, and I'm looking for a "boot camp" style experience to whip myself back into shape. P90X is 12 weeks long, and I'd mix in cycling as well.

Well, the variety comes with going down the hills. Or, mountain biking.

Otherwise your P90X will probably work. Though it might be a little slow, they've got CPUs that are several gigahertz now. :p
